Dr. Shelli Funt is a compassionate and skilled general dentist with a focus on esthetic dentistry and creating personalized treatment plans that prioritize both form and function. After earning a degree in Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Funt continued her education at New York University College of Dentistry, where she built a strong foundation in comprehensive dental care. Following dental school, Dr. Funt completed a General Practice Residency at Wyckoff Hospital, broadening her experience in a range of dental treatments. A year spent working in pediatrics further enhanced her ability to administer gentle injections and establish a calming bedside manner.
Dr. Funt is a board-certified Invisalign provider and also works with SureSmile to offer clear aligner therapy, helping patients achieve their best smile with minimal disruption. With a passion for esthetics, Dr. Funt follows a conservative approach to dentistry—believing that less is more when it comes to smile design and makeovers. This philosophy also guides her restorative work, preferring onlay restorations over full-coverage crowns whenever possible, and offering same-day restorations through in-office milling.
Additionally, Dr. Funt is a board-certified Botox provider, utilizing Botox for both therapeutic treatments and facial esthetics, offering a holistic approach to care that extends beyond traditional dental procedures.
Originally from Spartanburg, South Carolina, Dr. Funt has practiced in both New York and South Carolina but has called Atlanta home for nearly a decade. When not in the office, Dr. Funt enjoys spending time with her husband, Josh, and their two daughters, Sloane (5) and Jones (2). From ballet to swim and golf, their active family keeps them busy and always entertained.
