Krishana is originally from Alabama, but she has called Georgia home for over twenty years. She has been in the dental field for 24 years. Krishana graduated from the Lawson State Community College Dental Assisting Program in Birmingham in 2000, and she began her dental career as an expanded duty dental assistant in Atlanta. In 2011, she transitioned into skin care, becoming a licensed esthetician. After practicing esthetics at several spas, she returned to dental assisting, shining in both fields concurrently for a time.
Krishana acquired an associate’s degree in dental hygiene from Atlanta Technical College in the Spring of 2017. She had the honor of receiving the Colgate Award for excellent patient education skills and an Excellence of Citizenship Award for her ethics, integrity, and teamwork. After practicing dental hygiene in the field for several years, she decided also to dedicate some time to educating potential dental hygienists as a part-time clinical instructor at her alma mater, Atlanta Technical College.
Krishana is motivated by her love for people and her desire to educate patients on the connection of oral health to total body health. She and her husband spend several hours each month in their volunteer ministry work of sharing God’s word, and also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
